Locations of BotW memories: finish the Captured Memories quest

Breath of the Wild, part of The Legend of Zelda still has the ability to captivate people's attention after all these years. It is an incredible work of open-world design that advanced the genre by light years. It was by far the most effective approach to get the Nintendo Switch started.

There are also an absurd amount of activities to choose from. Along with hundreds of Korok seeds to gather, over a hundred shrines to explore, dozens of side missions, and an impending danger to the whole globe, there is a lot to accomplish. It all becomes a little overwhelming, then. Thus, in case you would want assistance with BotW memory locations Let us help you finish the side mission Captured Memories, which will ease your transition to Hyrule.

One of the most enjoyable side missions in BotW is Captured Memories, which offers you flashbacks showing the disaster from a century ago. It's a beautiful look inside the game's underappreciated narrative. Check out our BotW recipe book to produce some delicious concoctions, or our Zelda BotW map guide to make sure you really know where you're going if you need more help on your trip.

Memory locations for BotW

Every memory place is listed here, along with directions. Once you've turned on all of the Sheikah towers and a few shrines, getting them all is considerably simpler.

Sacred Ground Ruins

It's not an easy memory to start with. The memory location will be exactly in the center when you warp to the Central Tower and glide down to the northeast towards the Sacred Ground Ruins. Just be cautious since there may be roving guardians out to get you.

Lake Kolomo

Simply warp to the Great Plateau Tower and glide northward toward Lake Kolomo's west bank to access the second memory. At the end of a walk, the memory spot is tucked away among some trees.

Effective Columns

The closest tower to memory three is Tabantha Tower, however if you've unlocked Tena Ko'sah Shrine, which is located south of the tower, you may travel there and find yourself only a short distance away from the memory. If not, go southeast toward Ancient Columns from the tower.

Kara Kara Bazaar

Even if there are shrines closer to memory four, getting to Kara Kara Bazaar from the Wasteland Tower is not that difficult. Simply warp to the tower and go briefly west to reach a little oasis with a large, stone structure. On the other side of the sea, just across from that structure, is the memory location.

Eldin Canyon

I suggest starting at the Woodland Tower, gliding as far east as you can, then ascending the remainder of the way unless you have armor that can withstand heat. It's a bit faster to glide west from Eldin Tower if you do wear heat-resistant armor.

Irch Plain

Irch Plain is located northeast of the Ridgeland Tower, close to Hyrule's center. Approaching that direction, you will encounter a little area of water. Memory Six is located close by on some elevated grass.

West Necluda

Once Bosh Kala Shrine is opened, go there, cross the river, and then follow the bank north to reach memory number seven. If not, go westward to the Great Plateau Tower, cross the river, and ascend Scout's Hill to reach the memory at Deya Lake.

Hyrule Castle

Memory eight is really at the last half of the game, but you can sneak there. It's probably the toughest one to collect. Proceed to the rear of Hyrule Castle, cross the moat, and proceed in the direction of Zelda's study, either from the Woodland Tower or the Monya Toma shrine. It's a steep climb, so be prepared for that.

Power Spring

Memory Nine's closest tower is located quite a distance away from it. Head northwest and north-northwest toward the Spring of Power from Akkala Tower. Once the Katosa Aug shrine has been opened, teleport there, take a horse from the stable in East Akkala, and ride west until you get to the memory spot.

The Ruins of Sanidin Park

Warp to the Central Tower and float west over the Regencia River and Mount Daphnes for memory 10. The Sanidin Park Ruins are located not far from the bank. To locate the memory location, go to the edge of the semi-circle platform.

East Gate of Lanaryu Road

Hateno Tower is the closest tower to Memory Eleven, although it's a long distance away. Go there and proceed north toward the spot above if that's the only place you can warp to. Simply go northeast if you've unlocked the Kam Urog shrine, which shortens the distance. Better still, if you have the Jutan Sa'mi shrine atop Mount Lanaryu, you may glide all the way down to the site to the west.

Hyrule Field

This memory place may be reached by gliding north from Dueling Peaks Tower, but it's much faster to travel to the Kaya Wan temple, pick up a horse from the Wetland stable, cross the neighboring bridge, and then follow the riverside south to reach one of my favorite game memories overall.

Lottery Plain

Look at that! A hidden recollection. Once you have all twelve memories, go talk to Impa in Kakariko Village. She will display to you the last memory place in a photo frame. To get there, ride west until you reach the location by heading to the Ha Dahamar Shrine, picking up a horse at the Dueling Peaks stable.

The BotW memory locations end there. I hope you found the glimpse inside Zelda and Link's relationship interesting. To get all the information you want for the BotW sequel, see our BotW Zelda and BotW Link manuals for even more data.
