Who is Ollie from Poppy Playtime?

It is both easy and hard to respond to this. You know, we can state with confidence that Ollie is a helpful person who lives someplace in the Poppy Playtime factory since he guides us through our Playcare experience, but that's all. All we know is that. He seems like a good-hearted young man who wants to put a stop to the Prototype's rampage, but it doesn't give us enough details, so let's make some assumptions about him.

With his knowledge of the region, Ollie's claim to be one of the Playcare orphans appears plausible, even if it does imply that the impoverished land survived The Hour of Joy and was confined to the factory for the next 10 years. If this is the case, we have to commend this young man for pulling through Poppy Playtime's CatNap and his gang of little Smiling Critters—this is no minor accomplishment.

Even while the idea is fascinating, it does bring up some important issues, the most important of which being how old is Ollie? Although Ollie's voice suggests that he is a youngster, it should be noted that the game takes place 10 years after The Hour of Joy, therefore in 1995 he may only have been two or perhaps three or four years old. How, however, did he escape the massacre?

He obviously has a close relationship with Poppy since he wants to preserve the toys he knows from being destroyed by Poppy Playtime's Prototype. Considering that Poppy is the only friendly toy we've found so far, it's possible that she assisted the little kid before the Prototype put her in a case, or that Poppy Playtime's Kissy Missy did. She may not have been too concerned with helping others at the time, however, considering that she participates in The Hour of Joy and kills the scientists who are experimenting on her.

Ollie might also be a different toy that we haven't seen yet—something we discuss later—possibly carrying one of the orphans' souls. This might account for the difference in age as well as his remarkably positive demeanor when talking about some really somber subjects.

All we can say with certainty, basically, is that Ollie is a young kid who knows a lot about Playcare and CatNap.

What part does Poppy Playtime Ollie play in the narrative?

Ollie uses his local expertise to assist you in navigating the orphanage. It's unfortunate that you never see the youngster in person since we would want to shake his hand and, if Mr. Wuggy hasn't turned him off, give him a solid embrace. However, he informs you where to go and what to do at each spot, which can be a genuine lifesaver at times.

Ollie communicates with you via the phone you answer at the start of Deep Sleep in Chapter 3, but we believe we'll finally get to see him in Poppy Playtime Chapter 4 and later.

We might be wrong, but based on how Chapter 3 ended, we think Ollie could be able to protect you from another toy that could have harmed Kissy Missy—those cries still terrify us. We want to go on a rescue operation to save the fluffy pink giant from Experiment 1006 and , since we love her so much.Boxy Boo from Poppy Playtime Yes, we believe that Boxy's moment to shine is now in the next chapter, particularly in light of his performance on the videotape The Hour of Joy.

Ollie may even be able to help us get even with the nasty toy that would hurt such a precious person by using his extensive understanding of Playcare to save Kissy. Poppy and I are both inconsolable with the prospect of losing our pal. Ollie has to have a strategy.

Is Ollie from Poppy Playtime the Prototype?

We understand your thought process: "Are you crazy? You've clarified that Ollie is a little child. Yes, dear readers, we have, but is Experiment 1006 truly what takes us through Playcare since, as we've previously said, Ollie should be much older than he sounds like and we know that the Prototype can mimic voices?

Although we may not believe that to be the reality, it is an intriguing notion that we believe has some validity. The primary reason is because Ollie's voice doesn't sound like that of an adult or an adolescent, thus the Prototype may be mimicking a child he once knew. We know Ollie would be at least 14 years old at this point, if not perhaps even 20.

Is Ollie Baby Long Legs from Poppy Playtime?

We think this is our favorite hypothesis right now, so please bear with us as we explain. We are aware that Baby Long Legs is a member of the Long Legs toy line, and because Mommy Long Legs received a Bigger Buddies version, who's to say her offspring didn't as well? Ollie has a youthful voice, and considering the chronology, it's conceivable that this is because he is a toy and hasn't aged—despite being between the ages of 14 and 20.

Given that Baby Long Legs is the only toy that has been verified to be a real kid, it would appear to be the most logical choice in this scenario. We realize that this seems very unrealistic, but we just can't get past Ollie's childlike voice when he is, at the absolute least, a teenager, if not an adult. This is a hypothesis that could be worth exploring, and we'll be sure to update this guide if any information is revealed by the teaser trailers for Chapter 4.

Who knows? If our suspicions are correct, Daddy Long Legs could also make an appearance in a later chapter. I really hope so; I still find Mommy Long Legs to be fascinating, and I'd want to get to know the other toys in this line. However, I also have to hope that they aren't nearly as murderous as the group's matriarch.

We firmly believe that he will play a significant role in whatever happens in Poppy Playtime Chapter 4 and that he will be indispensable in eliminating the Prototype permanently.

Since previous kids, like Theodore and Marie (who later became CatNap and Mommy Long Legs) had contact with the Prototype prior to becoming toys, we wouldn't be shocked to learn that he had some kind of experience with Experiment 1006.
