What are our options? We adore Pokémon so much! Now let's get right into our ranking of the greatest legendary Pokémon
Supernatural Pokémon
Mew
The original
gen 1 Pokémon is unbeatable. There was Mew before there was Mewtwo. As a matter of fact, study notes scattered across the Kanto area include hints about Mew's existence. That's some incredible world-building and fascinating Pokémon development that the Pokémon games haven't often done since. Consider building your legendary Pokémon around a different legendary Pokémon that the game does not even allow you to capture. A brilliant move.In the very popular Pokémon The First Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back (at least among my friends group), Mew and Mewtwo both became even more well-known. Mew was shown to be a cute, innocent creature that resembled a cat and was still a force for good while having mixed feelings about humans in general. I will always remember the cute tiny "mew" sound that the animal makes, as well as the playground stories of the S.S. Anne employing strength to uncover a Mew concealed under a truck.Mew's Pokédex number 151 indicates that it finishes off the Kanto entries, which is an intriguing fact. Because Mew is so uncommon to witness, scientists thought it was only an illusion for a very long time. But as time passed, it became more clear that this entity only showed itself to those with pure hearts. In addition, it seems to be the progenitor of all Pokémon, which is quite amazing in my opinion.Celebri
I now have a deep affection for Celebi, in part because I still believe that Gold and Silver (or more precisely, Heart Gold and Soul Silver) are the best Pokémon games ever made. Being able to travel across time and guard the forest, Celebi is a more proactive Pokémon than others since it cares about the ecosystem it lives in and is directly impacted by its destruction.Celebi is a wonderful addition to Pokémon Gold and Silver, a generation that already has the greatest legendaries of all time, despite the fact that it may seem like a flying onion. Dispute with the wall; any generation that includes Suicune and Lugia is inherently superior. In the legendary Pokémon: 4Ever, Celebi also had its chance to shine. Its gorgeous pink shiny is a showpiece in my Pokémon boxes.Celebi is the last entry in the Johto section of the Pokédex, with a number of 251. It is believed to stray across time, bringing with it the flourishing of grass and trees wherever it travels. Furthermore, it is stated that when Celebi enters a forest, an egg from the future is left behind. Celebi only emerges in quiet, tranquil environments, therefore you'll need to be in a peaceful spot to see this amazing monster.
Jirachi
I adore Deoxys so much, so please don't hate me, but Jirachi almost wins me over. I am one of the seven persons (three of whom are on the SmartRead team) who purchased Pokémon Channel for the Gamecube, played through the game, and binge-watched countless episodes of the Pokémon anime in order to get the wish Pokémon for Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire. Jirachi's appearance is so magical and ethereal that it is a wonderful match for the legendary brand. In case you were unaware, the
gen 3 Pokémon is inspired by the Japanese "Tanabata festival," when participants write wishes on tiny pieces of paper known as tanzaku, lay them on bamboo, and then either let them float in water or light them to see if their wishes come true. This is the reason I like Jirachi so much; it's a charming Pokémon with a happy and hopeful past.Even though Jirachi is ranked 385 in the Pokémon system, Deoxys (yeah, we still feel awful that it isn't on our list) deserves the honour of concluding the Hoenn segment. Jirachi is a very much a "fight-or-flight" kind of creature; if it senses danger, it will fight even in its slumber. The belief is that you may write a desire on the notes that are fastened to its head, and when it awakens, your wish will come true. Some believe that once every thousand years, it can grant any request.Darkrai
Okay, I get this is rewriting history, but Darkrai is just unbeatable. It is rare to find mythical or legendary Pokémon that are really frightening, but the
gen 4 Pokémon has an eerie, genuinely menacing appearance to its design that simply radiates gloom. Darkrai, sometimes referred to as the shadow Pokémon, is able to materialise anywhere and has even been known to haunt people's dreams.Pokémon: The Rise of Darkrai, one of the finest Pokémon films ever made, has some of the most amazing and exciting encounters between legendary Pokémon that we have ever seen. Darkrai has a spooky, lean form in contrast to many large, bulky legendary or mythical Pokémon, and the fact that it may go back into the darkness at any time just heightens the fear factor.Victorini
Victini, also referred to as the victory Pokémon, is a psychic and a
fire that was first featured in the
gen 5 Pokémon games by Game Freak. Victini is a popular Pokémon since it is believed to guarantee success for its master. It is also believed that many human conflicts were sparked by the desire to employ Victini's ability to vanquish their opponents. Victini is a very adorable little boy with a fantastic design, and I usually like the more understated or sophisticated Pokémon designs.Victini also plays a major part in the two Pokémon movies that were released simultaneously, Pokémon: Victini and Zekrom and Pokémon: Victini and Reshiram. During this period, Pokémon was attempting to emphasise the contrast between the games and the black and white theme. Although none of these films is very good, Victini's endearing qualities and affection for cookies make it a standout.
Genesect
It's just absurd to think that evil Pokémon thieves would unearth a legendary Pokémon's fossil and then mount a huge gun on it. Genesect is designed to mimic the enormous insects that were once common on Earth millions of years ago but have now shrunk in an effort to escape extinction. In addition to having a fantastic appearance, genesects can also change into something like to a spaceship and float in midair. I believe that Pokémon doesn't always make sense.
Hoopa/Unbound Hoopa
We're getting close to a continuing custom for legendary Pokémon with Hoopa. Mythical Pokémon used to take on smaller, more innocent forms, as with Shaymin (who isn't depicted here, sorry), but then they would eventually show up as larger-than-life versions of themselves, like with Sky Shaymin. Hoopa is a Pokémon that begins as a cunning jin with the power to open portals between universes. It eventually develops into one of the silliest but most terrifying Pokémon that we have ever seen.I can't express how much I like Hoopa Unbound enough, but I also believe that Hoopa Unbound deserves an article of its own because of the interesting anime appearances and outstanding numbers. Hoopa transforms into the terrifying Hoopa Unbound, a creature with a demonic visage and many appendages that really appears capable of tearing apart the fabric of space-time, in contrast to the comparatively meek Shaymin and its unimpressive Sky Form. What a beast, it is.To discover how to fight the
gen 6 Pokémon and other
ghost Pokémon, refer to our
ghost Pokémon weakness guide if you encounter it in battle.
Zeraora
Zeraora is an electric-type legendary creature was first shown in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon by Game Freak. To put it mildly, she looks like something straight out of a PlayStation platforming game from the 1990s. Zeroara appears very animalistic, with cat-like features and blue lightning bolts running down its arm hair. In the Pokémon universe, animals like Zeroara were almost exterminated due to poaching. It was good to see a mythological character that carried on the tradition of animals that seem to fit the area they are situated in, since Pokémon Sun and Moon introduced so many otherworldly monsters with the Ultra Beasts (I adore them, no hate here). Zeraora appears in the amazing new film Pokémon: The Power of Us and blends in well with the Alola area. Any devoted Pokémon fan out there should definitely see Pokémon: I Choose You or The Power of Us if they haven't already. We recommend that you get familiar with the
electric Pokémon weakness in order to have a chance of defeating the
gen 7 Pokémon, since they are among the most dangerous
electric Pokémon available.Meltan
Meltan, the last and one of the newest product on our list, deserves a position for two key factors. First of all, Meltan is a little glob of a
steel Pokémon that can melt into a variety of forms. It is particularly endearing with its tiny nut-shaped head that is so proudly sporting a sports uniform. I also like Melmetal's menacing shape and its extraterrestrial metamorphosis into its Gigantimax form. They embody the mythological Pokémon in all of its forms, perfectly rendered.Second, Meltan's entrance to the Pokémon series was somewhat bizarre. If you don't remember, Meltan was first made available in Pokémon Go by Niantic. However, pictures of the shaky tiny metal blob appeared online before to its formal announcement. Meltan began to surface sporadically throughout the globe when a lot of people refused to accept that it was a Pokémon and instead assumed the picture was a placeholder for the real Pokémon to arrive. When the puzzle was eventually solved, gamers discovered they needed to move Pokémon between Pokémon Go and Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu & Eevee in order to get the little reward. This is still one of the most intriguing—if confusing—ways to capture and evolve a Pokémon to this day.If you ever come across Meltan, be sure to read our tutorial on how to defeat steel Pokémon (

Evolution of Ralts;
