The weapon type used by Jiyan, a five-star aviation character, is the broadblade.He leads the Midnight Rangers and is renowned for having a strong sense of justice and resolving conflicts. Born from a medically-focused household, Jiyan developed into a talented and perceptive individual. But since then, he has abandoned his tranquil career in medicine in favor of enlisting in the military and combating the Tacet Discords.

Which Jiyan team comp is the best?
We suggest that Jiyan be paired with a healer and a buffer to maximize his potent kit when choosing the optimal team. Naturally, however, certain personalities work better with him than others.
Jiyan's synergies are as follows:
- Wuthering Waves’ Mortefi – Mortefi is a great ally for Jiyan for many reasons. Firstly, Jiyan requires a lot of on-field time, whereas Mortefi requires very little. His outro skill also buffs heavy attack damage, which is very valuable to Jiyan as all of his attacks during his Qingloong mode are heavy. Additionally, Mortefi’s ultimate (resonance liberation) requires a high hit counter, which Jiyan can easily achieve with his own ultimate, and the heavy attacks of Jiyan’s ultimate trigger Mortefi’s additional coordinated attack. Therefore, we recommend using Mortefi’s ultimate, then quickly switching to Jiyan’s to use his, maximizing the damage of both moves
- Wuthering Waves’ Aalto – while his kit doesn’t compliment Jiyan’s quite as much as Mortefi’s does, Aalto is still a strong support for Jiyan, mostly thanks to his substantial aero damage buff. However, he doesn’t offer Jiyan any other buffs outside of this, and he requires a bit more field time, which isn’t ideal
- Wuthering Waves’ Verina – it should be no surprise that Verina’s here, as she’s undoubtedly the strongest healer and support in the game and a staple in pretty much any team comp. Her rotations are fast an easy to zip through, leaving plenty of time for Jiyan to take the field, and her outro skill offers a very welcome damage boost for 30 seconds. Basically, Verina synergizes with every character, so show her some love
- Wuthering Waves’ Baizhi – if you don’t have Verina at your disposal, Baizhi is a decent alternative. While she’s a little more restricted, her kit still offers similar buffs to Verina’s, in addition to some respectable healing
