The complete list of all accessible legendaries for Pokémon Go

It took a year for legendary Pokémon to appear in Pokémon Go, but the wait was well worth it. Among their shared traits are their rarity, inability to develop into other Pokémon, inability to be categorised as part of a gym, and inability to evolve into any other Pokémon.

There are several fan favourites on this lineup, including Mewtwo and Articuno.Being a Pokémon Go legendary naturally makes them very difficult to locate and capture in the game. They can be found in many different areas, including Field Research prizes, Legendary Raids, and the Go Battle League, but it's not always simple to capture them once you know where to look.

We'll discuss generations one through six below, along with their kind, counters, and release dates. Every new generation brings with it a plethora of new legendaries. Before we dive in, however, you may also want to read up on our Pokémon Go raid guide, the most recent Pokémon Go codes for in-game goodies, and future Pokémon Go events.

Let's dive into our list of legendary Pokémon from Pokémon Go now.

How can I find a legendary Pokémon in Pokémon Go?

All of the aforementioned legendary Pokémon have been found in the game, but only at certain times when Legendary Raids are taking place. You must attempt to capture the legendary like you would any other Pokémon once you fight it in a raid, but your odds of success are very low. It requires time, some Golden Razz Berries, and accurate throws—as usual.
