Finally, Fortnite Lego is available in Epic's new live-service games.
Three brand-new Fortnite live-service games that will premiere in December were unveiled by Epic Games this week. These game modes, which alter the formula of the wildly popular battle royale game, are integrated into Fortnite rather than existing as standalone projects.
December is already a busy month for Fortnite fans as the new chapter draws near, but Epic has gone above and above by announcing three new game modes in addition to the much-anticipated battle royale update. Lego Fortnite is the first of these; according to Epic, it's "the ultimate survival crafting Lego adventure." Maybe we're getting closer to those Fortnite Lego sets now that this game is out.
As part of the version 28 update, dubbed as Lego Style, over 1,200 Fortnite skins got a blocky improvement in anticipation of Lego Fortnite. This helps you save some V-Bucks since it means you don't have to start from zero while building your cosmetic collection to look good in Lego Fortnite. The press article makes it clear that these skins may be "played in upcoming Lego experiences inside Fortnite," implying that this is just the start of a much bigger partnership than this first game.
The developers of Rocket League, Psyonix, have created a fast-paced arcade racing called Rocket Racing, which is the second new game. Lastly, Harmonix, the company that created Rock Band, is responsible for bringing music gaming to life with Fortnite Festival. With a group of pals, you can now plan concerts in Fortnite in addition to watching them! Every Fortnite Festival season has a well-known music icon, and The Weeknd is this year's selection.
