Characters from Final Fantasy Ever Crisis

To help you understand the roles that each character plays in the game, below is a quick synopsis of them all.

DPS – Cloud Strife

Cloud Strife is, predictably, on our list's S-tier. As the strongest DPS in the game right now, we advise using the Apocalypse and Murasame weapons in tandem with him to maximize his abilities.

Sub-DPS

Barret Wallace

Barret is ranked in the A category on our ranking as he isn't nearly as strong as Cloud. When combined with his Heavy Hauser, W Machine, or Enemy Launcher, he can provide some serious long-range AoE damage.

Tifa Lockhart - sub-DPSWe consider Tifa to be top-tier since she can do good magic and physical damage. She or Barret may be assigned to your sub-DPS position. To maximize her damage output, arm her with the Sonic Striker and Tiger Fangs gloves.

Support for Aerith Gainsborough

Knowing anything about Final Fantasy 7 will probably not surprise you that Aerith ranks in the S-tier of our ranking and is the strongest healer in the game. Make sure she has the Wizard Staff and Fairy Tale equipped.

Red XIII - assistance

Red XIII is ranked B-tier on our list; he can heal teammates and do AoE magic damage, and he does OK in a supporting position.We advise giving him the Gold Collar and Platinum Collar.

Fair Zack - DPS

Zack would be an excellent primary DPS character. He may be used in place of Cloud and does well against bosses that are alone. Give him the Zweihander and Falchion swords.

DPS or sub-DPS Glenn Lodbrock

Glenn is another B-tier character that may be used as a DPS or sub-DPS. On the other hand, you should use Cloud. Rest in Peace and Apology in Hell are his greatest weapons.

Support or sub-DPS Matt Winsord

Matt is on the verge of making it into our S-tier, but not quite. With his debuffs and healing abilities, he excels in both support roles and is also capable of doing strong damage to opponents. Give him weaponry from the Axis, Prime Number, or Slick Beetle in the Broadsword.

Lucia Lin—sub-DPS or support

Lucia Lin is the lone character in our C-tier. Her ability to silence foes didn't really aid us early in the game, but it could come in handy later. Her preferred weaponry is the Mad Minute and Serpent Eater.

Inexperienced Sephiroth

This attractive young man can do some pretty serious ice damage to enemies, which is why we've ranked him in the S tier of our ranking. It is advised that you arm him with the Edged Wings as his primary weapon in addition to Shinra Blade: Model I for a potent non-elemental damage strike or Aonibi to increase his MATK.
