Honkai Star Rail's last closed beta is already over, but there's excellent news! April 26, 2023 is the official release date!

What is Honkai Star Rail?

The Honkai universe serves as the backdrop for Hoyoverse's future turn-based open-world role-playing game, Honkai Star Rail. Take the astral train and explore a range of distinct worlds, each brimming with thrilling discoveries and adventures. The adventure you go on encourages you to meet new friends along with old people from the previous entries as you resolve disputes and discover the secrets of this new planet. It combines aspects of myth and legend with a space setting and sci-fi narrative.

There are large regions to explore, mazes and riddles to complete, strategic turn-based combat that is beginner-friendly, and a compelling story to immerse yourself in. To learn more, watch the beta trailer below.

What system specifications does the Honkai Star Rail beta require?

The new beta is compatible with PC, Android, and iOS, unlike the previous one, which was limited to iOS. Hoyoverse recommends the following specs or above to provide a seamless testing experience.

  • PC: Intel® Core™ i5 Processor, 8 GB of RAM, discrete graphics card, Nvidia GeForce GTX 970
  • Android: Snapdragon 865, Kirin 9000
  • iOS (iPhone): iPhone X, iPhone 8 Plus. Must be iOS 12 or higher
  • iOS (iPad): iPad with Apple A12 processor or better (October 2018 model or later). Must be iOS 12 or higher

As of right now, macOS is unsupported.

Keep in mind that each account may only use one device per platform to access the Honkai Star Rail beta. If you've already begun your new journey, Hoyoverse will ban your account if you upgrade your device or log in on another device during the test period.
