July 2024's Pokémon Go raid bosses as of right now

You will need to take part in Pokémon Go raids if you want to capture the greatest Pokémon. These are challenging encounters where you and your pals battle a variety of your favourite monsters. If you win, you'll get a tonne of goodies. It's a fantastic way to find additional elusive monsters since you'll also have an opportunity to capture the one you battled.

Raids happen at gyms, and to take part, you need a raid pass, which you may get once a day by going to a gym. There are many raid levels, the highest of which offers you the opportunity to catch a legendary Pokémon.Check out our guides forPokémon Go Eevee evolution,Pokémon Go event, andPokémon Go community day to learn more about your favourite mobile game.

How do Pokémon Go raids operate, and what are they?

In Pokémon Go, raids are cooperative activities that pit you against strong monsters in return for special prizes. Every raid is categorised into five categories, the lowest of which is the simplest and the highest of which is the most challenging. The simplest raids you can do on your alone, while the more difficult ones need community cooperation. The steps to initiate and finish a raid are as follows:
  1. To initiate a raid, you’ll need a raid pass, which you can get from a gym once per day
  2. Next, find a gym with an egg above it and wait until the timer counts down
  3. Visit the gym when the timer has come to an end and you’ll be able to face the raid boss
  4. The raid boss is a Pokémon with much higher CP than usual, and you have an hour to form a team and beat it
  5. You can participate in raids solo or join a group of up to 20 other players
  6. You can bring up to six Pokémon into the battle with you, just like in a usual gym battle
  7. If you fail the boss fight, you can try again as many times as you’d like until the hour is up, and it won’t cost you another raid pass
  8. If you’re successful, you’ll receive a bunch of rewards and a chance to catch it using premier balls, which are exclusive to raids

How can I get premium balls? If you beat the raid boss, you can only attempt to capture it using premier balls, which are only available during raids. Premier balls cannot be obtained by regular ways; instead, you will get a predetermined quantity based on the following criteria:
  • Defeat the boss: five premier balls
  • Damage: up to four premier balls
  • Gymup to two if you control the gym
  • Team contribution: you gain extra premier balls depending on the damage your team, as a whole, inflicts
  • Friends: Raid with a friend to receive up to four extra premier balls
As you can see, by keeping an eye on the aforementioned, you might potentially win a good amount of additional balls.

How can I defeat boss raids?

You still can't be sure you'll capture the Pokémon, even if you have as many premier balls as possible; this is particularly true if it's a legendary at tier five. You must use a golden razz berry if you want to greatly improve your odds.Thankfully, golden razz berries are awarded for taking down raid bosses in the first place, so if you raid often, you should always have an abundance on you to boost your odds of boss capture. The following is a summary of additional actions you may do to raise your odds of encountering a challenging raid boss:
  • Throw a curveball by spinning the Poké ball before you throw it
  • Get an excellent throw by landing the Poké ball within the circle when it’s small
  • Get medals for the type of Pokémon you’re aiming to catch

What benefits are available to me?

Aside from the possibility of capturing a particularly strong Pokémon, finishing a raid successfully earns you the following benefits:
  • Golden razz berry
  • Fast TM
  • Charged TM
  • Rare candy
  • 3,000 XP (standard raids)
  • 20k XP (legendary raids)

How do remote raid passes work?

You may raid from the comfort of your own home with remote raid passes. Each one may be bought separately in the store. The Pokémon Go raid remote pass operates as follows:
  • Remote raid passes are a premium item that cost 195 Pokécoins individually or as a pack of three for 525 Pokécoins
  • You can only hold a limited number of remote raid passes at a time
  • Once you’ve purchased one, you can participate in any raids that appear on your nearby screen remotely
  • Twenty trainers can participate in the same raid battle
  • Raids performed remotely still count towards research tasks and achievement medals
