Optimal Moveset:

Make sure Mew has the optimal moveset for your intended use once you have captured it. Mew, however, has relatively poor stats in Pokémon Go when compared to other psychic-type Pokémon, but its large move pool more than makes up for it.

Most effective attacking moveset:
  • Snarl – dark-type move
  • Psychic – psychic-type move
Best moveset for defense:
  • Volt Switch – electric-type move
  • Solar Beam – grass-type move
