Disney Dreamlight Valley isn't available for free play anymore.

I simply can't wait to spend money on DLC on top of a game that costs money and has a ton of microtransactions. Sounds fantastic, doesn't it? No, it doesn't. Fans of Disney Dreamlight Valley, like me, are disappointed to learn that the game will no longer be available for free when early access ends.

Gameloft said that it is abandoning plans to make Disney Dreamlight Valley a free game when the game ends early access on December 5. However, following launch, players on all platforms have their valleys intact, and when the game goes into full launch, they shouldn't lose any progress or Moonstones.

The statement indicates that the game would stay paid for the "foreseeable future," but it doesn't seem probable that it will become free to play for a long time unless it decides to go the route taken by The Sims 4, which derives the majority of its revenue from DLC expansion packs rather than the core game.

Until now, gamers have purchased the game in order to get early access and obtain additional goods such as unique pets, apparel, and other items. You now have to keep paying to play the game even though it still has a lot of issues that gamers on all platforms have pointed out.

You may buy the game at many levels, but in order to get the additional DLC content when it becomes available, you must purchase the expansion pass on top of the other game tiers. The basic game, a certain quantity of Moonstones, and some additional material for the higher levels are all included in these tiers, which vary in price from $39.99 to $69.99. To be honest, I would like to pay less and get less Moonstones. Did Scrooge McDuck attend the business conference and choose these prices?
