Marvel Snap's weekend tasks are just becoming more difficult.

With the introduction of Marvel Snap's weekend missions, players now have an additional means of obtaining in-game items without having to pay any money. The issue is that possessing these Marvel Snap cards is only half the fight in these challenges, which often revolve around them.

Let's look at an example from the previous weekend to see how challenging Marvel Snap's weekend missions may be. One of the three challenges demands you to use Phoenix Force as the beginning card in your deck and win 15 games. All of this makes sense if you're using a destroy move hybrid deck, but if not, you need to be creative and figure out how to fit the large, flaming bird into a deck where it won't interfere. Is that enjoyable? Not at all? That's right.

Although the introduction of a new method to get credits, collector's tokens, and money is welcomed, the Marvel Snap Reddit makes it evident that the structure of these challenges is disliked. A post titled "How Long Can This Go On?" captures the precise sentiments of many of us, as we accept to Brode's challenge with a withered face after our third weekend of making ourselves play Phoenix Force decks.

However, the free-to-play group is the one that really loses out on the weekend tasks. The season pass card and the new card of the week are featured in each set of weekend tasks; if you're F2P, it's quite probable that you have neither of them. Yes, you may still finish one of three challenges by accumulating 20 victories over the course of the weekend, but a significant section of the community is losing ground as long as the weekend missions stay in their present configuration.

It's evident from a quick browse through the Marvel Snap Reddit and Discord groups that a lot of people are hopeful that the weekend missions feature will be changed soon to enable more people to participate. It won't be long before the next season begins to see whether it will be more of the same agony or something a bit more flexible. I am aware of my goals.

Here are our opinions about the difficulties that the communities are facing with the Marvel Snap weekend assignments. See our guides to Marvel Snap decks, Marvel Snap bundles, and the Marvel Snap season pass for more information on this superhero CCG.
