Pre-orders for Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope are now open, and judging by the June Nintendo Direct mini, this game seems like a lot of fun. Not only can we anticipate Rabbid Rosalina's drowsy antics, but we also know that King Bowser Koopa will be a playable character as well.

As of right now, it seems that the game will include some kind of interplanetary plot. Rosalina hasn't shown up yet, but it seems that this plot will be significantly influenced by Super Mario Galaxy and its sequel, since Rabbid Rosalina, starbits, and new Rabbid Lumas—dubbed Sparks—will all be included.
Outside of our Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope preview, we don't know a lot about the narrative, but it all appears rather interesting since it seems very different from the tales we normally get in Mario games these days, with a new nemesis named Cursa. Though this is only conjecture on our part, it seems like Mario and Bowser will team up in this game to take down a more formidable opponent, much as in Super Mario RPG, Super Paper Mario, and Paper Mario: The Origami King. And that's very nice.
Lastly, Grant Kirkhope will be creating the music for this game, similar to Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle. Because he composed the soundtracks for Donkey Kong 64, Banjo-Kazooie, Yooka-Laylee, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, he is highly regarded by lovers of video games.
