Let's examine how to properly construct Honkai Star Rail's Hook as she has a lot of power.

Best light cone | The Moles Welcome You |
Light cone substitutes | Woof! Walk Time |

The primary source of damage for this four-star firecracker is her flaming attacks, which also cause burn damage dot. Although her kit is mostly focused on single-target damage, she may swiftly take down targets because to her passive's ability to apply the burn DoT and deliver more damage to foes that have been burned. Combining her with other pyro characters such as Himeko from Honkai Star Rail and Asta of Honkai Star Rail improves her passivity even more.
Building a light cone with an attack boost and a hook with fire damage, attack, energy recharge, and critical hit is advised.
How Should I Use the Hook on Honkai Star Rail?
Similar to Genshin Impact's Klee, Hook is your team's primary target and does a lot of fire damage in addition to giving you the burn condition for two rounds.
With her ultimate blast over any fire vulnerability and her improved skill, she is very effective against lone opponents. Her burn condition causes more damage to adversaries and allows her to replenish energy, therefore you want to go for them.
Which light cones work best for Hook?
In case it wasn't clear from the name, Hook's kit is compatible with the design of the four-star light cone titled "The Moles Welcome You."
